New Program

I want to send out some good hype for a new product. Well, actually it has been out for a short while, but I am just now getting around to posting.

It's called ACDSee 9. Go to this page to check it out! There is even a code for a discount of 20%. I belong to the Monthly Club and I like it!

Another club I belong to is Gotta Pixel's Subscriber Club. I bought the year package and I have not been disappointed. I will even renew when it is up. I do belong to a couple of other clubs, but I will not be renewing them. I have not been real happy.

Disclaimer: I have not purchased many club package, so this is by no means a comparison. It is simply letting you know what I think it worthwhile. Everyone's taste and likes are different.

Take care.

Long Gone

Yes, I haven't been posting here. School has kept me pretty busy. So busy, in fact, that I haven't even done any scrapbooking.

An update, Tina Williams left Scrapbookers Playground to venture out on her own. Check her out at her own site.

I am hoping I get more time soon to get back into scrapping pictures. I have some from Halloween and Christmas of the grandchildren and pets.

I downloaded "Hello." It lets you chat and send pictures back and forth. The program is free. Check it out here.

Happy New Year everyone!

Getting Into It

Digital scrapbooking, that is. I am really starting to enjoy it. There are many designers whom I think do fabulous kits. I have been thinking that I have favorites. Meaning I like some more than others. I have decided my #1 pick, for me, is Tina Williams of Scrapbookers Playground. Check out her bio to learn more about her and see some of her layouts. Check out her store at Scrapbookers Playground to see all the wonderful kits and stuff she creates.

I don't know a lot about Tina, except for what I have read and what I observe in chats. She is a busy woman, but still managers to come to chat organized, and ready to go. The whole chat room seems to have a great time chatting about all sorts of topics. She even laughs at my smart*ss ways. Yea, anyone who knows me knows that I like to type fast, keep people laughing, and say some off the way things. I even joked with Tina about being her stalker. For the record, I am not stalker. Just having fun with it.

I would have to say that Tina could be one of my inspirations for keeping going in creating layouts and moving forward to learn more. Possibly one day I could become a designer.

I am very tired tonight and wish to do one more layout, since I am way behind, then it's off to bed.

Stay tuned for another favorite designer as soon as I get time.

Take care everyone.

Frustrated

I am really frustrated with some of the means of downloading designer freebies. Most designers go through yousendit or sendspace and that is good, but some designers use rapidshare and megaupload. These sites are good, but they only let you download one thing a day. When a designer breaks up a kit into two or three pieces I cannot get them and sometimes I miss out on part of the kit. This really bugs me! Don't get me wrong, I am very grateful for all the freebies, but what good are they if people cannot obtain them?

Hello Again

Time sure flies. I am working a lot of hours due to being short a person, and vacations. I started training someone I just hired. It's going okay so far. I am a bit worried about it, but I think that it's normal worry stuff associated with new hires.

Jadin turned one month old yesterday. She is so darn cute. I wish I had more time because I would really like to scrap some pictures of her. The doctors said that they won't do any kind of surgery until she is six to nine months old. They hope to have her doing well by the time she starts walking, so she can walk like a "normal" child. I tell you, she is very strong. She is trying to scoot and flip her body over.

Brenden is doing well. He is one and a half years old. He is one tough boy. He loves his new sissy. It's so cute because he has to see her first thing when he gets up in the morning, and if she cries he is right there. Some times when she cries it makes him cry.

Graham and I are working our butts off, yet we seem to be getting no where. I am holding onto faith that the hard work will pay off.

I did scrap a picture of my friend's daughter for her. See it here. Please leave a comment so I can learn to scrap better. Thank you.
